Students should:

  • Identify the use of acids, bases or neutralisation in society applied to a problem or issue
  • Discuss the effectiveness of the application of science
  • Communicate the issue and solution using effective scientific knowledge
  • Reference all sources using an appropriate standardised system

Use computers, books and any other available source to identify an issue whose problem or solution involves acids, bases or neutralisation with view to writing an essay of between 700 and 1200 words.
