This has many inaccuracies and leads to good discussion. It is suggested that the class split into groups, maybe the same as the experimental groups, to brainstorm the inaccuracies.

Discussion should include:

  • Propagation of instrumental inaccuracies
  • Use of repetition for random inaccuracy
  • Identification of systematic inaccuracy
  • Use of literature values to identify systematic inaccuracy
  • Use of inaccuracies to suggest areas of improvement
